· Well first things first, no trip to Sydney would be complete without a visit to Sydney Harbour. With its quiet coves and secluded beaches, a trip here is essential and a must on your sight seeing itinerary. There is no doubt that Sydney is home to one of the most fantastic and beautiful harbours in the world. If you are staying in the city centre, then you can expect to travel 2 miles to reach Sydney Harbour.
· Another place that you must see whilst out here is Sydney Opera House, this fabulous building is well worth a look with its fabulous engineering and architecture alone being one brilliant reason to visit. Situated less than half a mile from the city centre, each year there are over 1,500 separate performances staged here. It is a must see venue and hosts all types of different performances including ballets and operas.
Flights
Getting out to Sydney involves a flight which can take around 26 hours, so you better had be patient. However, the wait is worth it. The flight time alone takes around 22-23 hours in total and is broken down, and depending on which airline you use, the typical stops will include either one of the following Dubai, Sinapore, Hong Kong or Bangkok. As the flights are so long, they can be pretty pricey, so it is well worth searching around to find out a good deal, rather than jumping in feet first to the first one you come across.
